Fighting that took place last night at Warshadaha Road, especially near the former premises of the defence ministry and cigarette factory in Mogadishu was reported to be bitter. It has been confirmed that fighting has continued for several hours.

For the first time, women involved in the face to face fighting against the black imperialist [Ethiopia] that invaded our country could be seen. This has become an encouragement to Somali youth who previously fled Mogadishu to come back to the capital and fight.

As usual Tigray forces have indiscriminately fired artillery shells to neighbourhoods in the capital. Ethiopian forces can not defend themselves in this new style of face to face fighting against their bases during night time.

Islamic Courts militiamen dominate several parts of the capital, and they patrol in some localities like Huriwaa and Hawlwadaag, since the Ethiopian forces and their puppets do not come out from their base until they are attacked.
