Western Somalia, Tigray Fronts Agree To Join Forces

Voice of Western Somalia and Abo Liberation Front in Somali (Clandestine) – 1200 GMT 7

The Western Somali Liberation Front (WSLF) and the Tigre Peoples Liberation Front (TPLF) have signed a joint agreement under which they will unite their forces against their common enemy, the black colonialist Abyssinia. The agreement, which was signed at WSLF headquarters [in Mogadishu] on 4 April, states that the two fronts have agreed to establish a common training ground and combat tactics.

The agreement between the WSLF and TPLF came after a workshop in which the two fronts discussed in detail the difficult situation now prevailing. The workshop was attended by senior WSLF officials and the deputy leader of the TPLF and his delegation, who were on an official visit to Somalia.

The two fronts, WSLF and TPLF, have also agreed to do everything possible to bring all the liberation movements and other people opposed to the Addis Ababa regime together and find ways and means of eradicating the colonialist and repressive regime of Addis Ababa.
