Israeli attempts to penetrate the Somali coast

Cairo radio (in Arabic) – aired 1640 GMT

Israel is trying to infiltrate into Africa and to establish economic and trade relations with the African countries in an effort to break through the economic blockade imposed on it.

It is worth mentioning that during 1956 an Israeli Zionist arrived at Mogadishu, where he tried to start a company, but he was compelled to leave the country when confronted with the violent resistance put up by the Somali people from all classes and political parties.

A number of Zionists have recently arrived in Mogadishu, but they have been resisted. The imperialist authorities are trying to encourage them to stay in the country. The Zionist companies operating in Djibouti along the Somali coast are suffering from an adverse slump because the Somali people are boycotting their products.
