Western Somali Liberation Front battle report from Hararghe province

Forces of the Western Somali Liberation Front (WSLF) fought fierce battles with the Addis Ababa regime forces at (Biyo Werabo), (Mida Galole), (Dulo) and (Madi Bale), in (Fedis) Province of Hararghe region on 5 April.

In the battles, which threw the Abyssinian regime forces into confusion and disarray, the WSLF killed 1,578 Abyssinian soldiers and captured 25 [word indistinct], 30 Bren guns and 16 bazookas.

A spokesman for the WSLF executive committee said this morning that there were fierce battles recently between WSLF and Abyssinian forces in the areas of Fiambiro, Jijiga and Dagahbur, during which the Addis Ababa regime forces suffered serious setbacks, including the capture of 32 Abyssinian soldiers.

The spokesman added that the battles are stiil raging.
