Earlier this week in fierce fighting between forces of the Western Somali Liberation Front and the army of the shaky Addis Ababa regime in and around Dire Dawa, 1,207 soldiers of the demoralized Ethiopian Army were killed and another 70 captured.
During the fighting, in which the army of the barbarous Addis Ababa regime suffered heavy losses, the forces of the Western Somali Liberation Front also effectively forced units of the demoralized barbarous army from 12 villages near Dire Dawa before crushing them in Dire Dawa itself. The report added that the freedom fighters also destroyed six trucks and captured 1,150 rifles from the colonialist army of the Addis Ababa regime.
Other reports reaching us from the Western Somali Liberation Front confirm that the freedom fighters recently destroyed the power stations of Dire Dawa and Hararge.
