The Somali paper Runta (Truth) in its latest issue carried an article praising the heroism of the Vietnamese people in their struggle against U.S. imperialism.

The article said that although the United States increased its troops to 180,000 in South Vietnam, the heroic South Vietnamese people eliminated thousands of them.

The United States has fallen into the quagmire in Vietnam and is aiming to reverse its defeat. The South Vietnamese people will bury the U.S. paper tigers in their soil.

The article pointed out that the people of the whole world who will not submit to tanks and bombs or the nuclear weapons of imperialism will decide their own future.

The heroic South Vietnamese people’s resistance against the U.S. aggressors is the best proof. They have dealt telling blows to the U.S. imperialists, who possess all kinds of destructive weapons, and they are determined to send the U.S. aggressors to their graves.

The article condemned the Johnson administration for sending American youths to South Vietnam as cannon fodder.

The people of the whole world, including the Americans, demand that the U.S. imperialists stop their aggressive war against Vietnam and withdraw their troops from South Vietnam, the article noted.
